This is the Official Tranny Unlock for the new updated H&S Mini Maxx Tuner. Other codes may brick (black screen) your Mini Maxx which will make them inoperable and not repairable. (NOT FOR V2)

*ONLY available for 2006 - 2012 Cummins. Dodge Transmission Tuning is VIN Specific and a code must be generated for your specific vehicle.

2006-2012 Dodge Cummins 48/68RFE - Prolong the life of your automatic transmission with H&S's Overdrive Transmission software. This code unlocks the ability to build a custom transmission tune to compliment the engine tuning on H&S Mini Maxx or XRT Pro tuners

If you own a diesel engine tuner, chances are that your transmission is being neglected and isn’t compensating for the increase of horsepower/torque, causing premature burnouts and costly repairs (we all know Dodge’s record).

One of the biggest complaints about the stock 68RFE transmission is the early shifting. 5th and 6th gears will come in early and cause a "dead pedal" or even a transmission "shudder". These conditions worsen with performance engine tuning, and can cause unnecessary damage to your transmission. H&S modifies those 5th and 6th gear shift points to greatly reduce these annoying problems.

If you are a 2006-2012 Dodge Cummins driver (2500/3500 only), then you’re in luck - the Cummins Overdrive transmission software will do just that.  The transmission tuning software is already built-in to your tuner and can be activated simply by purchasing this unlock code.
No downloads are required - all the data is already inside your tuner. This code simply unlocks the ability to access it. 

Tranny Tuning is Custom tailored to mate with H&S engine tuning, the 5.9L Overdrive software includes modified torque converter lock/unlock strategies that will command the TC to lock in 3rd gear under wide open throttle and hold it locked through 4th gear.

Light throttle torque converter strategies have also been changed to lock-up sooner, keeping more power directed to the road instead of wasted in heat and friction. Shift points are modified to take advantage of the available horsepower and torque output. 

On a 2006 Cummins with a stock 48RFE, we have seen 0.2 to 0.3 second quicker 1/4 mile times JUST from the addition of the H&S Overdrive Tuning.
