Stage 1: The Cub

Entry-Level L5P/L5D Duramax Delete Kit

The Cub is the essential tuning-and-exhaust package for customers who already have supporting components or prefer to select their upgrades separately.

It includes the RTD4 tuning interface, a GDP single tune, the required credits, the CAN bus plug kit, an E41 ECM unlock solution and T409 stainless-steel DPF delete pipes.

A physical EGR delete kit, upgraded downpipe, cold-air intake and transmission tuning are not included with Stage 1 but may be added separately.

Stage 2: The Young Lion

Best-Value Complete L5P/L5D Duramax Delete Kit

The Young Lion is designed for customers seeking a more complete package with upgraded exhaust flow, physical EGR removal and multiple tune options.

Stage 2 upgrades the single tune to a GDP multi-tune or SOTF tune package and includes a complete 4-inch T409 stainless-steel exhaust, an EGR delete kit, an upgraded T304 stainless-steel downpipe and a matching exhaust tip.

On supported vehicles and calibrations, the SOTF package allows the selected power level to be changed using the factory steering-wheel controls.

Ultimate 5-Inch L5P/L5D Duramax Delete Kit

The King of the Jungle is the most complete package available for supported L5P and L5D Duramax applications.

It combines the RTD4 interface, GDP multi-tune or SOTF tuning, the required credits, an E41 ECM unlock solution, an EGR delete kit, a 5-inch T409 stainless-steel exhaust, an upgraded downpipe and an S&B cold-air intake.

This package is designed for customers who want the complete tuning, exhaust and intake combination in one order.

3. Steering-wheel-controlled SOTF functionality on supported applications

RTD4 Flash Tuning Interface

Each package includes an RTD4 flash tuning interface used to install the supplied custom tuning.

The RTD4 provides access to the tuning process without including unnecessary professional tuning hardware. The supplied interface is paired with the required tuning credits and the tune files ordered for the truck.

Exact software and setup requirements are provided with the tuning package.

SOTF Tuning

Stage 2 and Stage 3 may be ordered with Shift-on-the-Fly tuning. On supported applications, the driver can change between available power levels using the truck’s factory steering-wheel controls.

SOTF availability depends on the model year, ECM operating system, vehicle configuration and selected tune package.

GDP Custom Tune Ordering Process

GDP custom tunes require a completed tune-order form.

How the Tune Process Works

1. Complete the purchase and provide an active email address.

2. Submit the supplied GDP tune-order form.

3. Provide complete and accurate vehicle information.

4. Login information will be emailed after the form is submitted.

5. GDP will build the tune files for the specified vehicle and modifications.

6. Completed files will be available for download through tuning.tech.

The normal tune-file processing period is approximately three to five business days after the completed tune-order form has been received.

Incomplete vehicle information, incorrect ECM information or missing modification details may delay tune delivery.

• Single-rear-wheel or dual-rear-wheel configuration

• Factory exhaust layout

• 2500HD, 3500HD, 4500HD or 5500HD chassis

• Aftermarket suspension or drivetrain modifications

Some cab-and-chassis trucks may require an application-specific exhaust configuration or installation modifications. Confirm fitment before ordering.
